PIE Center's photo contest now developing

Center for Public Issues Education launched 5th Annual Photo Contest

There will be six category winners and two overall winners who will receive $50 and $100 Amazon gift cards, respectively. Once the submission period closes on February 26, voting will begin and winners will be announced on March 14. (Courtesy Photo)

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Do you enjoy taking photos? Do you have pictures that represent the agriculture and natural resource sectors? Show them off with the PIE Center! Submit your photos and they may be featured in special reports or on social media. There will be six category winners and two overall winners who will receive $50 and $100 Amazon gift cards, respectively. Once the submission period closes on February 26, voting will begin and winners will be announced on March 14.

The following contest categories will be voted on using Facebook or Votigo:

  • Crops – $50 Amazon gift card
  • Livestock – $50 Amazon gift card
  • Wildlife – $50 Amazon gift card
  • Scenery – $50 Amazon gift card
  • Leadership in Agriculture and Natural Resources – $50 Amazon gift card
  • People in Agriculture and Natural Resources – $50 Amazon gift card

Professional photographers will judge the following categories:

  • Best Overall – $100 Amazon gift card
  • Best in Florida – $100 Amazon gift card
