CAMP HILL, Pa. — Pennsylvania Farm Bureau’s (PFB) State Board of Directors has hired Michael L. Stolitca, Jr. as the organization’s chief administrative officer.
The chief administrative officer serves as a bridge between PFB’s Board of Directors and professional staff. In that role, Stolitca will lead the staff and day-to-day operations of PFB, PFB Member Services Corporation, and the Pennsylvania Friends of Agriculture Foundation. He started in the role April 19.
“I am excited for the opportunity to serve an organization that is recognized as a leader in Pennsylvania agriculture,” Stolitca said. “I look forward to working with Pennsylvania Farm Bureau’s grassroots leaders across the state to build upon the organization’s past successes to reach a stronger future.”
Stolitca comes to PFB from the agricultural equipment industry. Before joining PFB, he was regional sales manager for Kubota and previously served as district sales manager for New Holland Agriculture. Stolitca has a bachelor’s degree in government and legal studies from Bowdoin College and a master’s degree in agricultural economics from Penn State University. He grew up on a family farm in Westmoreland County.
“It is clear that Michael brings with him to PFB a passion for agriculture and positive vision for the future,” PFB President Rick Ebert said. “We look forward working with him to grow the organization and strengthen its role as an effective and influential voice for Pennsylvania farmers.”
