CONWAY, S.C. — Clemson Extension Service will be holding a pesticide calibration and safety workshop at the Horry County Extension Office in Conway on Thursday October 5th. This will be a daylong workshop offering 6 pesticide recertification credits. Registration will be limited to the first 60 registrants with a cost of $75. Lunch will be provided. Clemson Extension Master Gardeners are available to answer your gardening questions throughout the summer at local Plant Problem Clinics. Master Gardeners will be available at all Waccamaw Cooperative Farmer’s Markets located in Conway, Little River, North Myrtle Beach, Carolina Forest, Market Commons, Surfside Beach and Georgetown. There will also be a manned Plant Problem Clinic at the Inlet Square Mall from 10am until 2pm Thursdays through September. These trained Master Gardeners will assist you with local growing conditions as well as assisting with ongoing plant problems.
