UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Pesticide applicators planning to take the Pennsylvania certification exam can benefit by attending the “Private Pesticide Applicator Short Course,” hosted by Penn State Extension.
This event will be held as a webinar series and is scheduled to start at noon Feb. 16. Topics covered will help build a foundation of knowledge about safe and proper handling and use of pesticides for registrants. New applicators are not required to attend this class before taking the exam, but it may help them prepare.
Cost of the webinar series is $20. Certification exam study materials are not included in the registration fee. All participants are responsible for obtaining their own core and category certification examination training materials for class.
