MADISON — Effective communication and listening skills are key to building successful teams to meet your dairy business goals. The Professional Dairy Producers® (PDPW) Effective Leadership Workshop, a part of PDPW’s Dairy’s Visible Voice® curriculum, provides dairy farm and allied business owners, managers or other key thought leaders within the dairy industry the skills needed to boost their communications skills with employees, peers and consumers.
The PDPW Effective Leadership Workshop will be presented Thurs., Jan. 10, 2019, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin Headquarters at 8418 Excelsior Dr., Madison, WI 53717.
Led by Renea Heinrich, Counselor at MorganMyers, the training session will focus on active listening skills, equipping participants to adjust how they listen so they can respond more effectively. Participants will leave the session with stronger leadership skills to help avoid conflict between team members and the ability to organize thoughts and engagement when listening and sharing their passion with consumers.
The Effective Leadership Workshop is a part of the communications and leadership training curriculum, Dairy’s Visible Voice®, presented by PDPW. The final program for the 2018-19 program year will be the Social Media Strategy training held Feb. 7 in Madison, Wis.
