WATERTOWN, N.Y. — Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County will be hosting a free webinar for farmers and producers, Get the Word Out: Reaching Potential Customers, on Thursday, February 25th 2021 from 6pm-7pm. Veterans and Military families are welcome and encouraged to attend!
This introductory online class, through Zoom, will discuss the various payment methods utilized by customers and how expanding payment options can help grow your customer base and sales. Participants will learn the pros and cons of various payment methods including credit, debit, checks, gift certificates, e-commerce, Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program coupons and EBT transactions. Topics will cover how to determine which payment options fit into your business goals, identifying current customer bases, and how to get started accepting multiple payment methods.
