OKLAHOMA CITY — Central Life Sciences presents Paul Bogart Music Live after the Friday night performance of the 36th Annual Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association’s (OCA) Ranch Rodeo. The event will take place Aug. 21 at the Lazy E Arena, near Guthrie, Okla.
A sincere thank you goes to OCA Partner, Central Life Sciences, for bringing Paul Bogart Music to the OCA Ranch Rodeo. Concert admission is included with the purchase of a Friday night OCA Ranch Rodeo ticket.
“All of my music just fits under a cowboy hat,” Paul says, explaining the straightforward appeal of his sound. “I want people to shoot straight with me – to just be real – and that’s what my music is: honest, sincere songs that everyday people can relate to.”
Bogart knows the agricultural life firsthand, having grown up in Northeast Oklahoma to a family of truckers, team ropers and musicians; his title track, “Leather,” hearkens back to those Heartland roots and homegrown work ethic.
“Paul’s agricultural roots and Oklahoma heritage make him a perfect fit to perform after the 36th OCA Ranch Rodeo,” said Mark Upton, representing Central Life Sciences. Our company is a proud to support cattlemen and women in the state of Oklahoma and we hope to boost Friday night tickets sales, which will result in more funds raised for the Children’s Hospital Foundation.”
The OCA Ranch Rodeo consists of 12 ranch teams of ‘real ranch’ cowboys that compete in five different events depicting daily tasks from life on the ranch. The competition is fierce, but the cowboys do not take home much more than bumps and bragging rights. They participate with one goal: to support the Children’s Hospital Foundation (CHF). The OCA Ranch Rodeo has raised more than $531,000 for CHF since 1997.
The OCA Ranch Rodeo is a two-day event scheduled for Aug. 21 and 22. Performances begin nightly at 7 p.m. and doors open at 5 p.m. with shopping inside the trade show. Make plans to join us at the Lazy E Arena. To learn more about the OCA Ranch Rodeo or purchase tickets, visit www.okcattlemen.org.
