NEILLSVILLE, Wis. — Do you need to renew your PAT certification? Anyone who intends to purchase, mix, load, apply, or direct the use of restricted use pesticides as a private applicator must be certified. Certification is good for five years and you must recertify before your expiration date if you want to continue to use restricted-use pesticides (check your certification card for the exact date.) Classes will be held on the following dates:
March 1, 2019 / Clark County Courthouse – Neillsville (auditorium)
March 6, 2019 / Abbotsford City Hall
March 8, 2019 / Thorp Fire Hall
All classes will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. with a break for lunch and then testing will start in the afternoon. Self-study is another option available if you aren’t able to attend any of the classes above.
Books are available at the Extension Office in Neillsville, Heartland Coop in Owen, and Provision in Unity. Cost is $35 each and can be mailed for an additional $10 fee (books will not be mailed out until fee is received in office; no debit/credit cards accepted.
