VALATIE, N.Y. — Join Cornell Cooperative Extension Albany County, the Capital Area Agriculture & Horticulture Program and Kinderhook Farm on September 5, 2019 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm to learn the basics of raising hogs on pasture. Kinderhook Farm, 1958 County Rd 21, Valatie, NY 12184 (https://www.kinderhookfarm.com/) is an Animal Welfare Approved diversified livestock operation, raising hogs, sheep, beef, layers and broilers, all on pasture.
Kinderhook Farm raises various breeds of pigs. The animals always have access to either wooded and/or grassy areas outdoors, and are marketed at Kinderhook Farm’s on-farm store, through meat shares, and by the whole animal.
Please register and pay in advance by September 2, 2019 for early bird pricing of $10 per person. All
registrations received after this date and walks-ins are $15 per person.
