STOCKTON, Mo. — Partners in Pasture is a group of west central Missouri forage producers who meet at different farms and discuss the grazing management and livestock needs. The August Partners in Pasture is Monday, August 28, at 6 p.m. at the Ervin and Regina Scharff farm northeast of Stockton.  This farm will feature both cool and warm season grasses. The host will provide burger and hot dogs and participants should bring lawn chairs and a potluck dish.  University of Missouri Extension will provide water and paper supplies. They will have a trailer with hay bales to ride across the pastures.  Please call the Vernon County Extension Center at 417-448-2560 or e-mail Pat Miller at millerpd@missouri.edu to let them know that you are coming.

Directions to the farm from Stockton are as follows:  Go 3 miles east of Stockton on 32.  Turn left and go 9 miles northeast on M highway.  From Humansville go west 1 mile on N highway.  Turn left and go south 4 miles on M highway.  It is a blue house.  Watch for Extension signs.
