COLUMBIA — An adventure in Good Taste!

In its 10th year, The South Carolina Farm Bureau Federation will once again be hosting its annual fundraiser, Palmetto Palate. This event celebrates South Carolina grown food, South Carolina farmers/producers and outstanding chefs. Guests will enjoy a diverse selection of delicious tapas-size dishes and have access to a top-notch silent auction featuring predominately South Carolina products and specialty items. In addition, this event promotes friendly competition among the participating chefs. A panel of judges will determine the winner of the Palmetto Palate Best Chef Award and the winning Chef will take home a commemorative plaque and cash prize . It is a fun time to be had by all! The Palmetto Palate is a night full of food, drinks, networking and fun in an upbeat atmosphere that supports South Carolina agriculture.

Some of the Restaurants participating in this year’s event are:
2 Fat 2 Fly, Blue Marlin, Juniper, Let’s Cook Culinary Studio, Silver Spoon (last year’s “Best Chef Award” winner), The Oak Table & Tallulah.

This year’s event will be held on the evening of Thursday, July 20th, at 701 Whaley in Columbia, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. We hope to see you at this year’s event and truly enjoy An Adventure in Good Taste!
