All wheat planted in Idaho totaled 1.17 million acres, up 1 percent from 2022. Harvested area, at 1.04 million acres, is down 4 percent from the previous year. All wheat production totaled 89.1 million bushels, down 5 percent from the previous year. Yield is estimated at 86.1 bushels per acre, down 0.7 bushels from 2022. In Oregon, all wheat planted totaled 740,000 acres, up 1 percent from a year ago. Harvested area, at 725,000 acres, is up 1 percent from 2022. Production totaled 40.6 million bushels, down 16 percent from the previous year. Yield is estimated at 56.0 bushels per acre, down 12.0 bushels from 2022. In Washington, all wheat planted totaled 2.30 million acres, down 1 percent from 2022. Harvested area, at 2.24 million acres, is down 1 percent from the previous year. Production totaled 113 million bushels, down 21 percent from 2022. Yield is estimated at 50.5 bushels per acre, down 12.9 bushels from the previous year.
All hay harvested in Idaho totaled 1.30 million acres, down 6 percent from 2022. All hay production totaled 5.25 million tons, down 1 percent from the previous year. Yield is estimated at 4.04 tons per acre, up 0.24 tons from 2022. In Oregon, all hay harvested totaled 900,000 acres, up 10 percent from the previous year. Production totaled 2.78 million tons, up 6 percent from a year ago. Yield is estimated at 3.09 tons per acre, down 0.11 tons from 2022. All hay harvested in Washington totaled 840,000 acres, up 27 percent from 2022. Production totaled 3.36 million tons, up 19 percent from the previous year. Yield is estimated at 4.00 tons per acre, down 0.28 tons per acre from 2022.
Potatoes planted in Idaho totaled 330,000 acres, up 12 percent from 2022. Harvested area, at 329,500 acres, is up 12 percent from the previous year. Production totaled 145 million cwt, up 20 percent from 2022. Yield is estimated at 440 cwt per acre, up 30 cwt from the previous year. In Oregon, potatoes planted totaled 45,000 acres, up 2 percent from 2022. Harvested area, at 45,000 acres, is up 2 percent from last year. Production totaled 27.5 million cwt, up 4 percent from a year ago. Yield is estimated at 610 cwt per acre, up 10 cwt from 2022. Potatoes planted in Washington totaled 160,000 acres, down 3 percent from 2022. Harvested area, at 159,500 acres, is down 3 percent from the previous year. Production totaled 99.7 million cwt, up 4 percent from a year ago. Yield is estimated at 625 cwt per acre, up 45 cwt from 2022.
Dry beans planted in Idaho totaled 35,000 acres, down 3 percent from 2022. Harvested area, at 34,700 acres, is down 2 percent from the previous year.
