HARRISBURG, Pa. — Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding today announced the Pennsylvania Farm Show will host a Summer Food Fest, providing Pennsylvanians the opportunity to once again taste their PA Farm Show food-favorites as they countdown to the 2022 show.
The Summer Food Fest will take place inside the GIANT Expo Hall at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center from Friday, July 16 through Sunday, July 18. Vendors will be open from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily.
“Pennsylvania Farm Show food has a reputation – Pennsylvanians from far and wide flock to the food court each January to savor their favorites until the time comes again,” said Redding. “These seasonal food fests have provided a new opportunity to showcase Pennsylvania’s food and agriculture industry, a new opportunity to support the farmers we rely on for our essentials all year-long.

In addition to food vendors, the Pennsylvania Farm Show has arranged for a small sampling of AgExplorer Stations to be available providing opportunities for agriculture learning opportunities from the Friends of Farm Show, Dauphin County 4-H, Pennsylvania Dairy Princesses, and Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.
The 2022 Pennsylvania Farm Show is scheduled to take place in-person from Saturday, January 8 through Saturday, January 15. In addition to offering traditional fan-favorite in-person events live at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex, the Department of Agriculture aims to offer a variety of virtual activities following the success of the virtual 2021 show. Providing both in-person and virtual coverage enables reaching a broader audience with the stories of Pennsylvania agriculture.
A variety of educational virtual exhibits from the virtual 2021 PA Farm Show remain available to peruse in the Farm Show’s Virtual Exhibit Hall. Pennsylvanians are also encouraged to explore the Pennsylvania Farm Show Trail for further opportunities to support local agriculture and build a stronger commonwealth.
