PIKETON, Ohio — We can’t host you at our research farms, but we can visit virtually! For the first time in 12 years, the annual Ohio State University Hops Field Days, traditionally held at our three research hop yards around the state, will be held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social gathering restrictions.
In lieu of the in-person OSU Hops Field Nights, we will be holding three Virtual Hop Field Nights the evenings of Aug. 18, 19 and 20. These sessions will discuss hop production and integrated pest management in Ohio. You can tune in online to see pre-recorded, in-field presentations followed by a live question-and-answer session. Each session is 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. EST.
Registration and the agenda can be found at go.osu.edu/2020virtualhops. Deadline to register is Aug. 17, 2020. These sessions are free but registration is required. Any questions can be sent to Anna Adams at adams.2061@osu.edu or Brad Bergefurd at 740-289-2071 Ext. 136.
