Online beef update meeting May 18th

Three Ky. organizations who play a major role in Kentucky's beef industry will join together

Ky. Deputy State Vet, Dr. Alex Hagan; Kentucky Farm Bureau’s Livestock and Environmental Field Specialist, Renee Carrico; and Kentucky Beef Council's Foodservice and Retail representative, Alison Smith will provide an update on the beef industry in Kentucky. (https://hintonmills.com/)

PLUMMERS LANDING, Ky. — Three Kentucky organizations who play a major role in Kentucky’s beef industry will be together Tuesday evening, May 18th at 7:00p.m. EDT for an industry update. The update will be held via Zoom and is free and open to the public.

  • Ky. Deputy State Vet, Dr. Alex Hagan – having a secure beef supply plan
  • Kentucky Farm Bureau’s Livestock and Environmental Field Specialist, Renee Carrico – Policy updates from Washington DC, state information about meat processing, upcoming Pro-Meat Campaign
  • Kentucky Beef Council’s Foodservice and Retail representative, Alison Smith – KBC’s role in promoting Kentucky Beef
