While 4-H maintains its foundation in agriculture, in 2018 you can find our youth involved in so much more. A visit to the State Fair 4-H Youth Building showcases the interests and talent diversity of our members.
Originally selected by Boonville Fair Evaluators as projects worthy of moving forward to the NY State Fair, Oneida County youth have submitted over 60 projects along with a corresponding written summary in the areas of: Arts and Crafts, Food and Nutrition, Photography, Power point, Child Care, Sewing, Communications and Woodworking.
These submissions were reviewed and scored against a set of specific standards within a projects category. Evaluators look for presentation, execution, as well as the educational and personal growth opportunities that the youth gained from working on this project.
