ONEIDA CO., N.Y. — Do you love gardening? Would you like to connect and learn with others who feel the same? Have you dreamt of becoming a Master Gardener Volunteer?
Join program coordinator, Holly Wise, for the first of two informational meetings, on Tuesday, August 20th at 6:30 pm at Oneida County’s Farm and Home Center 121 Second St. Oriskany, NY. First, you’ll experience a regular MGV meeting. Then, following the meeting, visitors will learn master gardener program highlights and be able to talk with actual Master Gardeners.
Oneida County Master Gardener Volunteers design, maintain, and incorporate their gardens as a community teaching tool based on actual research passed to us from Cornell University. Their main program focus is their educational display gardens, the Parker F. Scripture Botanical Gardens, which surround CCE’s offices at 121 Second St.
MGV’s also bring garden information to the public through special events and speaking engagements. Please RSVP Terri ext. 169 or Holly ext. 125 at (315) 736-3394 to attend the meeting. Check out our website at www.cceoneida.com
