COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Green Industry Association (OGIA) has opened registration for its new annual conference, midwestGREEN, which takes place November 1-3, 2022 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio.
This new conference will bring together green industry professionals from across the region in a uniquely multifaceted environment for business development, innovative technology showcasing, networking and will offer over 50 educational sessions to help industry businesses succeed.
“We are excited to launch midwestGREEN this year,” said Tracy Schiefferle, OGIA Executive Director. “The conference presents a unique opportunity for reconnecting and networking with peers, sharing best practices, and learning in practical workshops and general sessions led by industry leaders and other experts. The midwestGREEN Conference is the “must attend” event for both experienced and early-career professionals.”
Attendees will have extensive networking opportunities with our exhibitors and interactive education sessions that will create an immersive learning experience. Educational sessions will offer a wide variety of content that includes valuable information and inspiration from innovators representing multiple sectors of the green industry. Topics include team building tips, the customer experience, business and finance, plant health and best practices, and more.
OGIA is also pleased to announce two keynote speakers for midwestGREEN.
Tony DeCenzo of Focus 3 will go over critical performance resources that equip people with the mindset and skill set to be intentional about the way they make decisions and take action. Focus 3 is an Ohio-based advisory firm that provides consulting and training resources to help organizations develop their leaders, strengthen their culture, and empower their people. Focus 3 was founded by Tim Kight and is instrumental in working with The Ohio State University football program and numerous businesses and organizations.
Simon Anderson is a Futurist and Applied Foresight Consultant with his company Venture Foresight, LLC. He has dedicated his career to helping leaders around the world be Future Ready, able to navigate the challenges and capitalize on the opportunities created by rapid change.
