SALEM, Ore. — The Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) is excited to provide an opportunity to be a part of a special subsidized exhibit at the Winter Fancy Food Show in Las Vegas January 15-17, 2023.
The Winter Fancy Food Show is the largest specialty food event in the Western United States. Open only to prequalified members of the specialty food trade, the Winter Fancy Food Show is considered a “must attend” event for retail and foodservice buyers, food industry service providers, media members, and trendspotters.
We are looking for food and beverage producers who meet the criteria below.
Program Priorities:
- Specialty Food Association’s (SFA) definition of “specialty foods,” includes:
- Foods and beverages that exemplify quality, innovation, and style.
- Products defined by some – or all – of these characteristics:
originality, authenticity, ethnic or cultural origin, specific processing, ingredients, limited supply, distinctive use, extraordinary packaging, and/or specific channel of distribution or sale. - Products that maintain a high perceived value and often command a premium price.
- All exhibiting companies must be a Tier 2 Member of the SFA. Please see the website to review the requirements and directions on how to apply for membership. You will have an opportunity to apply if you are chosen through this application.
- Your company should be familiar with distribution and have the capacity to sell products on a national or international scale.
- Your company must provide two representatives for the entirety of the show to ensure full show coverage.
- ODA will cover 50% of booth costs. You will be responsible to pay Specialty Food Association directly for the remaining booth cost by December 2, 2022. Each booth includes a chair, trash can, table with tablecloth and carpeting.
- The trade show financial responsibility for participating company will be:
- $1,025 for a 5’x10’ booth, plus $300 membership fee, one-time $100 application fee and $150 Product Qualification fee, all paid directly to SFA.
- $2,050 for 10’x10’ corner booth, plus $300 membership fee, one-time $100 application fee and $150 Product Qualification fee, all paid directly to SFA.
- Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements, booth set up, and travel to and from the Convention Center.
- Participants are responsible for shipping samples
