ITHACA, N.Y. — NY FarmNet is continually working to enhance its program to better serve farmers and the agricultural community in New York State. Your input through the following survey will help the program to be most effective during the current economic climate. Results will be viewed by occupation category only, and used solely for evaluation and improvement purposes. Farmers, lenders, agri-service providers, and anyone with stake in NY agriculture is invited to respond. The survey will take five minutes or less to complete.

NY FarmNet offers free, confidential consulting to all types of farmers to assist them in reaching their business and personal goals. Since NY FarmNet began in 1986, the program has supported farms and farm families across the state during times of change, times of growth, and times of crisis. NY FarmNet provides guidance and support related to financial analysis and decision making; personal well-being; business planning; business transfers; retirement and estate planning; and communication. Through the collective expertise of the NY FarmNet consultants, we are able to help farmers identify problems facing their business and family, brainstorm solutions, and evaluate options to develop a plan of action. NY FarmNetis based in the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University.
