SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The 2019 New York Farm Show will include the new Exposition Center at the New York State fairgrounds. “This is the first year that the Exposition Center has been available for the show. I’m excited for our exhibitors and visitors to see this amazing facility,” said Scott Grigor, New York Farm Show manager. The new Exposition Center—a 136,000-square foot building with 110,000 square feet of clear-span space is the largest expo facility north of New York City between Boston and Cleveland. “Many exhibitors in the past few years wanted to expand their space and I was unable to accommodate their requests. This year, I have the ability to allow the exhibitors that additional space. Last year’s show was 230,000 sq. ft. and this year’s show is over 300,000 sq.ft. of exhibit space. The show promises to be bigger and better with the addition of the Expo Center,” Grigor added.
The building is located next to the main parking lot and will be one of five buildings used for this year’s show. The other buildings include; Dairy, Center of Progress, Art and Homes and Horticulture buildings. “We have more exhibit space in fewer buildings, as a result of the Expo Center. For the first time in many years all of the buildings will be more exhibitor and visitor friendly. We have added more seating in the dairy building to take a break, enjoy a cup of coffee and even lunch. The new Expo Center will have seating as well,” said Grigor.
