ALBANY — The New York Corn & Soybean Growers Association is pleased to once again be offering 2 scholarship opportunities for the 2022-2023 school year.
In July 2017, the New York Corn and Soybean Growers Association lost long time director and one of the founders of the Association Bill Jenkins. Bill and his wife Dorine were a constant presence at NYCSGA events and always quick to lend a helping hand often being the first to arrive and the last to leave. Bill loved agriculture and loved sharing his many life adventures with people. Bill provided years and years of experience, enthusiastic volunteering and comic relief to the Association. He exemplified what it means to serve and was passionate that we continue to grow and promote the industry. In honor of Bill, the New York Corn & Soybean Growers Association will offer two scholarships each in the amount of $1000 to be awarded to enthusiastic students pursuing a degree in agriculture.
