ROME, N.Y. — Throughout March the New York Beef Council (NYBC) will co-host a weekly commodity collaboration with the New York Apple Association on both of their social media platforms. Videos highlighting the beef and apple recipe pairings were created with the help of NYBC’s very own “Man with a Pan” aka Ryan Gros and Kelly Springer, RD. Each video emphasizes the versatility of both apples and beef. Don’t miss watching these fun, informative videos, every Thursday in March on either New York Beef Councils Facebook or Instagram. The commodity collaboration was made possible through the partnership and was put together using the four recipes below. The first of four videos can be found at https://youtu.be/943XB7p82YM

Apples contain 10-11% of your daily fiber recommendation while a 3oz cooked serving of beef provides approximately one-half of the daily amount of protein. Combining protein and fiber with exercise can help you manage your weight loss, improve your blood sugar levels, and boost your strength and energy. Additionally, a diet high in protein and fiber can curb your hunger and limit your calorie intake.
