ALBANY — The NY Animal Agriculture Coalition (NYAAC) is committed to helping others understand and appreciate animal agriculture through numerous programs offered throughout New York State. Part of being a positive advocate is helping others become effective advocates as well. As a non-profit organization, we believe in the future of the agriculture industry and look forward to helping young students build their future. NYAAC is offering two, $500 scholarships to New York residents who will be actively engaged in a college education in Fall 2022, either as a first-year college student or beyond. Applicants must be majoring in an academic program related to Agriculture Education, Agriculture Communications, Agricultural Business and/or Animal Science.
The funding for this scholarship is made possible through donations and the generosity of farms and farm businesses throughout New York State.
Applications are due April 29, 2022, and scholarship recipients will be notified in May 2022.
Two $500.00 scholarships will be awarded based upon the merit of the submitted application. Final award selection will be approved by the NYAAC Board of Directors. Receipt of the scholarship will be given upon successful completion and proof of the Fall 2022 semester.
