NW Ohio small farm webinar series

Central State University Extension/North State Community College hosting

Central State University Extension (CSUE) and North State Community College will host a free webinar series, “Growing Small Farms: A Series for Beginning Farmers,” on upcoming Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. (MSU Extension photo)

WILBERFORCE, Ohio — Central State University Extension (CSUE) and North State Community College will host a free webinar series, “Growing Small Farms: A Series for Beginning Farmers,” on upcoming Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.

Participants will learn about specialty crop production from featured speaker CSUE Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator Michelle Wallace.

Each week will focus on a different topic:

  • Jan. 25: Tree Fruit Production
  • Feb. 1: Growing Hops
  • Feb. 8: Small Scale Vegetable Production

The series is designed to provide an overview of different production systems that growers can adopt for small farm production as well as different ways to market these specialty crops.
