Oregon apple utilized production totaled 174 million pounds in 2020, up 18 percent from the previous year. Value of
utilized production was $39.2 million, up 1 percent from 2019. In Washington, apple utilized production totaled
6.57 billion pounds in 2020, down 9 percent from the previous year. Value of utilized production was $2.10 billion,
up 7 percent from 2019.
Sweet Cherries
Oregon sweet cherry utilized production totaled 55,270 tons in 2020, down 2 percent from the previous year. Value of utilized production was $134 million, up 78 percent from 2019. In Washington, sweet cherry utilized production totaled 199,960 tons in 2020, down 16 percent from the previous year. Value of utilized production was $562 million, up 43 percent from 2019. The 2020 utilized production values in both states were record highs.
Pears
Pear utilized production in Oregon was 209,800 tons in 2020, down 6 percent from 2019. Value of utilized production was $97.6 million, down 6 percent from the previous year. In Washington, pear utilized production totaled 345,940 tons in 2020, up 6 percent from the previous year. Value of utilized production was $176 million, up 23 percent from 2019.
Grapes
In Washington, grape utilized production totaled 325,000 tons, down 17 percent from 2019. Value of utilized production, at $302 million, was down 2 percent from the previous year.
Blueberries
In Oregon, utilized production of blueberries totaled 153 million pounds in 2020, down 1 percent from the previous year. Value of utilized production was $120 million, down 11 percent from 2019. Washington utilized blueberry production was 166 million pounds in 2020, up 2 percent from 2019. Value of utilized production was $217 million, up 42 percent from the previous year.
