HARRISBURG, Pa. — Milk production in New York during August 2021 totaled 1.30 billion pounds, up 0.3 percent from August 2020. The average milk price received by New York farmers in July 2021, at $18.10 per hundredweight, is down $0.20 from June 2021 and down $0.40 from July a year ago.
Milk production in Pennsylvania during August 2021 totaled 841 million pounds, unchanged from August 2020. The average milk price received by Pennsylvania farmers in July 2021, at $18.50 per hundredweight, is down $0.60 from June 2021 and down $0.80 from July a year ago.
Milk production in Vermont during August 2021 totaled 213 million pounds, down 0.9 percent from August 2020. The average milk price received by Vermont farmers in July 2021, at $18.80 per hundredweight, is down $0.40 from June 2021 and down $0.60 from July a year ago.
