North Dakota State Fair recognized for excellence

The North Dakota State Fair received six IAFE Awards of Excellence

Each year we do our best to create an event that is the showcase for North Dakota. MINOT, N.D. –The North Dakota State Fair (NDSF) earned international and regional recognition at industry conferences. At the 131st annual International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE) convention, fairs from around the world submit entries. This year NDSF received six IAFE Awards of Excellence.

Each category being judged at the IAFE convention focuses on a different aspect of specific events and event planning. “We are honored to recognize organizations exceeding in competitive exhibits at their fair. Those receiving these prestigious awards were selected by our panel of judges based on their creativity, concept development, promotion, innovation and adaptability,” Brittney Harper, Member Services Coordinator, said.

The North Dakota State Fair earned these awards:

  • 1 IAFE Competitive Exhibits Awards
  • 2 IAFE Non-Fair Facility Usage Awards
  • 1 IAFE Innovation in Sponsorship Awards
  • 2 IAFE Hall of Honor Communications Awards
