SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Earlier this month, a coalition of agricultural organizations in North Dakota announced the formation of the North Dakota Livestock Alliance (NDLA) focused on helping farmers raise livestock successfully and responsibly in the state. The NDLA is a nonprofit, non-partisan organization that assists farmers, ranchers and communities with the development or expansion of the livestock industry. Ag United executive director Steve Dick met with the NDLA planning group in 2016, and board members Scott VanderWal and Rodney Elliott also met with North Dakota representatives to share insights from Ag United and to support the new alliance.
