Field Crops Report: Soybean condition rated 11% very poor, 26% poor, 42% fair, 20% good, and 1% excellent. Soybeans blooming was 33%, ahead of 28% last year, but near 35% for the five-year average. Setting pods was 1%, near 2% last year and 4% average.
Spring wheat condition rated 22% very poor, 32% poor, 30% fair, 15% good, and 1% excellent. Spring wheat jointed was 96%, near 94% last year and 97% average. Headed was 84%, ahead of 76% last year, and near 82% average. Coloring was 16%, ahead of 5% last year, and near 13% average.
