MANHATTAN, Kan. — Each year, KFAC recognizes one Kansas teacher who is committed to connecting their classroom to Kansas agriculture. Any certified K-12 teacher who teaches in a Kansas classroom and integrates agricultural concepts into non-agricultural curricula is eligible for this award. This award recognizes teachers who instill a passion for learning about agriculture in their students. The winner of the KFAC Teacher of the Year Award will receive an all-expense paid trip to the National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference held in June each year.
No one knows educators in your community quite like you do. We encourage you to nominate outstanding educators in your community for this award and tell others in your community to do the same.
The winner of this award will go on to represent Kansas at the national level next summer at the National Agriculture in the Classroom Summer Conference. Help us represent the amazing educators our state has by nominating one today!
