HARRISBURG, Pa. – Calling all no-till, cover crop and soil health advocates, and those who want to learn more about these practices! The Pennsylvania No-Till Alliance will host soil health meetings on Monday, February 24 in Clarion County and on Tuesday, February 25 in Lancaster County. All are invited to these events, which commence at 8:45 a.m. The Alliance has planned a full day of activities which include keynote speaker Trey Hill, as well as educational presentations and panel discussions with no-till farmers.

Trey is a well-known no-till innovator from Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Owned and managed by Trey and his father Herman, Harborview Farms is pioneering new techniques to influence the agriculture industry as a whole, instilling a mix of traditional practice with innovation and creativity to uncover novel solutions that move the industry forward.
Trey’s presentations for the Clarion County event will focus on Using No-Till and Cover Crops to Maximize Yields and Profits and also Lessons Learned in Adopting No-Till and Cover Crops.
At the Lancaster County event, Trey will turn his focus to Building Soil Health beside the Chesapeake Bay and Creating a Positive Environmental Relationship in Your Community.
The event will be hosted on both sides of the state, allowing for further adaptability to particular soil health experiences. The Monday, February 24 event in Clarion County will be hosted at the Trinity Point Church of God, 180 West Trinity Drive, Clarion, Pa. In addition to keynote speaker Trey Hill, highlights of this meeting include:

The Tuesday, February 25 event in Lancaster County will be held at the Farm & Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Drive, Lancaster, Pa. Similarly, in addition to presentations from Trey Hill, highlights of this meeting will include:

- Soil Health and Water Quality: The Critical Connection
- EPA Updates and Opportunity for Program Feedback
- Glyphosate: Proper Management and Public Perception (Panel Discussion)
- Why Soil Health is Important and What It Means to You
Both meetings will conclude with a moderated Q & A session, allowing time to get the most out of your attendance and ask questions from any of the presenters.
