YATES CO., N.Y. — This year’s NYCO meetings will be held via zoom but also in person at the Yates County Office Building’s Auditorium. Registration for either method is required but the meetings are free. We have kept the same days as we have had for the past 28 years for the discussion based meetings; 2nd Tuesday of January, February, and March. We will start at noon and go to 1:30 pm. Half the time will be a speaker and half the time will be discussion between organic farmers in attendance. The one thing missing will be the dish to pass lunch.
The February 9th meeting will feature Bryan Brown with Cornell IPM. He will use high speed video to discuss how to set up cultivators to get desired soil disturbance. Meeting attendees will have the choice to view these meetings online by registering at the link below, or by contacting Caroline Boutard-Hunt with Yates CCE at: email@example.com or 315.536.5123. The Yates County Auditorium at 417 Liberty Street, Penn Yan, NY Will have limited seating.
The March NYCO meeting is still being planned. As usual there is no charge for the meetings. We’re sorry there won’t be the chance to network at the dish to pass lunch this year. Already looking forward to next year to meet face to face with old and new friends.
