ARDMORE, Okla. — The Noble Foundation Center for Pecan and Specialty Agriculture will host a Pecan and Fruit Orchard Establishment Workshop to discuss the importance of site selection and orchard design.
This workshop, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, Jan. 17, at the Noble Foundation Kruse Auditorium, located on the main campus in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
“The success of a pecan or fruit orchard starts prior to establishment,” said Charles Rohla, Ph.D., Center for Pecan and Specialty Ag manager. “Developing a good design plan helps lay a foundation for success.”
