FLEMINGTON, N.J. — This year’s hybrid program consists of three days of online learning with a diverse and exciting agenda, presented by an array of forestry experts. The program concludes with an all-day outdoor session at YMCA Camp Linwood MacDonald, One Flatbrook Road, Sandyston, New Jersey by Stokes State Forest in Sussex County. The webinar schedule is:
Tuesday, September 21 – 7pm to 9pm via Zoom
Wednesday, September 22 – 7pm to 9:30pm via Zoom
Thursday, September 23 – 7pm to 9:30pm via Zoom
For the outdoor session, feel free to arrive at the Camp on Friday, September 24th (anytime after 5) if you would like to stay overnight (if the minimum number of participants is reached – if not, the program will begin at 8:30am on Saturday). A welcome reception with light refreshments will take place at 7pm. All participants should plan on being at the camp by 8:30am on Saturday, September 25th. The program will start with a welcome breakfast and end by 5:30pm. Lunch is also included.
Each participant is expected to attend all three days of webinars and the outdoor field session. If you are unable to fully participate, we welcome you to consider attending next year (2022) for our full 3-1/2 day in-person event.
Registration
The $25 registration fee covers all webinars, lodging (optional Friday evening), meals (Friday welcome reception & Saturday breakfast & lunch), and study in the surrounding forest. In return, each participant will volunteer 15 hours promoting Forestry in New Jersey.
