PITTSBORO, N.C. — We’re excited for the 34th annual Sustainable Agriculture Conference and believe it’s gearing up to be one of our best conferences yet. There are plenty of new activities planned and hope you feel inspired to dig in and join us!
The conference brings together farmers, educators, policy experts, and activists for a timely, once-a-year opportunity to discuss the most pressing issues facing the sustainable agriculture community on local, state, and federal levels.
Everyone deserves to eat, but not everyone always has a seat at the table. We’re constantly adding more chairs and asking folks to sit down with us and join the conversation. This is your opportunity to join us for the biggest meal of the year!
Each year, we listen to you—our attendees, members, and supporters—and ask what you want to learn. The result? We’re turning up the heat on this year’s programming withclimate change adaptation and mitigation as a central theme. From workshops on regenerative agriculture to panels on public policy, learn from experts and join the discussion! Plus we’re offering new workshops on hemp, advanced organic farming topics, ag education, social justice, policy, and community resources. We also have new pre-conference trainings and a seed exhibition as part of the Southern Organic Seed Summit. Click here for a sneak peek of what’s new at the 2019 SAC.
