New features for our readers

Site additions include expanded events, job postings, and new portal area

PUBLISHED ON December 3, 2017

Let us know if there are any features that you would like us to add in the future.

Dear Readers,

We’ve been busy at the Morning Ag Clips over the past 6 months. Growth has been knocking at our door every day — which is exciting.

As a result of the growth, last year we decided to launch a portal within our website.  The idea was to give you, our readers more, and to give our contributors easier access for submitting press releases, events, and job postings.

Whew, were my editors happy to have the help!

Consider signing up if you are part of an ag organization or ag business that wants more visibility, easier access, and immediate publishing.

Please check the portal out here

For our readers, the portal ushered in a new design and format to the Calendar of Events page that was much needed. In case you didn’t realize, you can access these calendar listings by utilizing the EVENT button at the top of your Morning Ag Clips every day. With one click you can go right to the calendar page on our website where you can query events happening in your state and beyond.

The portal also allowed us to bring in a new feature, a Job Postings page. Here you will find employment opportunities in agriculture if you are looking for a change. There just might be something for you.

In addition there is a new Sponsor Page on the website. This is where we honor those companies and organizations that help to financially support the Morning Ag Clips every day. As you know, our news service is free to subscribers. We believe strongly in the importance of keeping our industry producers and leaders “in the know.” Knowledge is power and it is important that all have access and build harvesting of it into their routine every day.

It is our advertising sponsors and portal members that make the sharing of all of this valuable information possible. Thank you sponsors!

Let us know if there are any features that you would like us to add in the future. We have a board in the office with a list. This list is made up of ideas and items that we are working on and looking toward. Reach out to us and we will add your idea to the list.

The Morning Ag Clips is moving forward every day, check it out and come along with us  🙂

Here’s to a great week!

With much gratitude,

Kate Ziehm
