TIMONIUM, Md. — More Than A Fair, We’re A Culture…ExcitementCULTURE! With a newly constructed set design and an outstanding team of lovable rescue dogs and their dedicated champion trainers, Fusion Talent Group will present three Extreme Dogs Shows daily, from Aug. 23 to Sept. 2, next to the Farm & Garden Building at the 138th MY Maryland State Fair.
Extreme Dogs amazing show includes favorite dog sports like agility, high jump, weave pole racing, disc and tricks with a brilliant new cast. The show also promotes dog adoption and provides tips to help your pooch live a healthy, happy life.
More Than A Fair, We’re A Culture! The 138th MY Maryland State Fair presented by Toyota is a fun and educational destination complete with daily exhibits, presentations and entertainment sure to captivate visitors of all ages. No other event provides so much food, fun, family entertainment and education for so little. The Maryland State Fair, located in Timonium in Baltimore County, starts with Ridemania Preview Night on Aug. 22 from 5 p.m. to close. Exhibit Halls, Barns, Midway Rides, Food, Games and more open Aug. 23 through Sept. 2. Hear live national and local entertainment during the M&T Bank Presents LIVE! ON TRACK Concert Series, featuring: American Pop band HANSON on Aug. 23; and, Rock legends The Marshall Tucker Band on Aug. 24; Country duo LOCASH on Aug. 30; and, Arena Rock band Night Ranger on Aug. 31. Explore The 4-H/Home Arts, Farm & Garden Buildings and The Exhibition Hall for thousands of the best-of-the-best of Maryland creations and exhibits, Monday through Friday, noon to 9 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Labor Day Monday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Mosner-Miller Museum/DNR Building closes daily at 8 p.m.
See all kinds of livestock and horses in the Cow Palace, Barns, Show Rings and Birthing Center. Early risers are welcome to arrive early to attend the livestock and horse shows in the various livestock barns, buildings and show rings. Experience Live Thoroughbred Horse Racing Aug. 23 through 25 and Aug. 30 to Sept. 2. Post Time: 1 p.m. Also enjoy Simulcast Horse Racing daily in the Grandstand and OTB.
Participate in agriculture education activities at the U-Learn Agriculture Education Zone, The Birthing Center, Horseland, Nature Play Space, UME Master Gardener Learning Garden and more at various times throughout the Fair.
Admission to the Fair is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (62 and older) and $5 for children (6-11). Children five-years-old and younger are admitted free. Rides are individually priced. Free Admission to Grandstand for Thoroughbred Races and OTB Only at Timonium Road Gate. Limited parking on the Fairgrounds is available on a first-come, first-served basis for $10.
