GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — Vaughn Sievers has joined the Nebraska State Fair as the Agriculture Director. As Agriculture Director, he will be responsible for all agricultural operations including livestock and equine competitions, agriculture education programming and collaboration with agriculture education partners. Sievers brings a wealth of experience in the livestock industry and knowledge of the Fair to the Nebraska State Fair team. His people-oriented and results-driven approach will help the Nebraska State Fair grow. The Nebraska State Fair has always been a major part of Vaughn’s life. Vaughn was hooked on the State Fair when he started to attend the events at an early age. Tending to the cattle was higher on Vaughn’s list of things to do than being inside. He is super excited to bring that same enthusiasm to the Agriculture Director’s position to plan the 2021 Nebraska State Fair.
