LINCOLN, Neb. — All layers in Nebraska during April 2023 totaled 7.48 million, up from 7.31 million the previous year, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service.
Nebraska egg production during April totaled 181 million eggs, up from 178 million in 2022. April egg production per 100 layers was 2,426 eggs, compared to 2,439 eggs in 2022.
