FARGO, N.D. — The NDFB Promotion and Education Committee is pleased to be offering scholarships to students whose families are NDFB members. The scholarships are made possible through contributions to the NDFB Foundation.
“We are excited to offer this money to students who are a part of the NDFB family,” said NDFB Director of Organizational Development Joey Myers.
This year, an all-time high of over $10,000 was raised for the scholarships during a live auction at the NDFB Annual Meeting in November.
“We appreciate all those who donated and bought items at the live auction,” said Myers. “The county Farm Bureau’s put a lot of hard work into finding auction items and supporting this program.”
The scholarships include one for students enrolled in agriculture majors, a Farm Bureau family member scholarship, one for high school seniors enrolled in an ag school and the Becki Palmer Scholarship. The Becki Palmer Scholarship is a memorial scholarship for a long-time staff member who passed away from cancer.
Scholarship applications are available on the Promotion and Education scholarship page at www.ndfb.org/edusafe/scholarships. The applications are due in the NDFB office in Fargo no later than March 15, 2018.
To donate to the scholarship fund, please send your tax-deductible contribution to the NDFB Foundation, PO Box 2064, Fargo, N.D. 58107. Please indicate you would like your gift to go to the scholarship fund.
