“Farmers and ranchers had a challenging year and we are hoping to give them a chance to connect with friends and be a part of something positive,” said NDFB’s Executive Vice President and CEO Jeffrey Missling. “The NDFB Foundation is about giving hope for the future of agriculture, and that is what farmers and ranchers need right now.” (ndfb.org)

FARGO, N.D. — The 2019 growing season has not been an easy one for farmers and ranchers and NDFB is planning something special for its members at the 77th NDFB Annual Meeting. The annual meeting is November 22-23, in Fargo at the Holiday Inn.

Members are invited to attend NDFB’s Foundation Night Out on Friday evening, November 22 at 6:00 p.m. The event will take place at Fargo Brewing Company and includes hors d’oeuvres, a live auction that benefits the NDFB scholarships, and a few surprises.

“Farmers and ranchers had a challenging year and we are hoping to give them a chance to connect with friends and be a part of something positive,” said NDFB’s Executive Vice President and CEO Jeffrey Missling. “The NDFB Foundation is about giving hope for the future of agriculture, and that is what farmers and ranchers need right now.”

On Friday and Saturday, voting delegates will discuss and vote on policies to guide the organization through the next year. The opening general session begins at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.

Saturday includes president, vice president and district elections, along with the NDFB Collegiate Discussion Meet. The winner of the discussion meet will compete at the 2020 Young Farmers and Ranchers Conference, March 13-16 in Louisville, Ky.

During Saturday night’s banquet, attendees will have a chance to unwind and share some laughs with comedian, Tim the Dairy Farmer. Tim Moffett is a Florida dairy farmer who says if you can grow it, pick it, pluck or pull it, there’s a joke in there somewhere.
