FARGO, N.D. — The North Dakota Corn Growers Association (NDCGA) is accepting applications for their 2022 scholarship program until January 31. There will be seven scholarships worth $1,000 awarded to high school seniors or college students that are members of NDCGA or a son/daughter of a NDCGA member and pursuing a degree in ag.
Scholarships will be rated on the following:
• Academic transcript
• Resume
• Completed 2 of the 3 essay questions
• Letters of Recommendation
• NDCGA Membership
Applicants can register to become a member at www.ndcorn.org. Three types of membership options are available: three-year grower memberships ($140), one-year grower memberships ($60), and one-year student memberships ($20).
The scholarship application form can be filled out online on the North Dakota Corn Growers Association website and must be submitted by January 31, 2021. Applicants may only receive the scholarship once.
The North Dakota Corn Growers Association is the farmer-led membership organization focusing on policy that impacts North Dakota corn producers. The NDCGA board of directors consists of fourteen growers from seven districts along with three at-large and two industry directors.
