CURTIS, Neb. — While the 93rd annual National FFA Convention and Expo was underway last week in the first-ever virtual format, the Aggie Collegiate FFA/4-H Club and NCTA Dean Larry Gossen saluted FFA members on campus.
Eleven NCTA students or graduates were on the list in 2020 to receive their American FFA Degrees. Less than 1% of FFA members earn the prestigious honor.
NCTA had nine current Aggie students who received their American FFA Degrees. Two recent Aggie graduates also were among American FFA Degree recipients.

Aggies also recognized two NCTA students who have served on FFA leadership teams in their respective home states.
Gillian Brinker of Anchorage, Alaska, is a freshman studying equine industry management. She was the 2019-2020 Alaska FFA Association State Vice President.
Taylor Hendrix of Holyoke, Colorado, an agribusiness management major in her second semester at NCTA, served on the State Executive Committee in 2018-2019 with Colorado FFA.
Both women are campus leaders and officers with the NCTA Collegiate FFA/4-H club.
NCTA’s Collegiate FFA has recently made application to the National FFA Organization to establish an FFA Alumni Chapter in Frontier County.
