LACONIA, N.H. — Human relations play a major part of the farming operation and require skills to successfully build and maintain valuable working relationships with employees, farm partners, suppliers, and customers. UNH Extension will offer a virtual workshop series for women farmers in March to help identify and implement best management strategies in these human and marketing risk areas. Through presentations and discussions, we will uncover some of the top issues women farmers are facing in managing these risk areas on the farm.
This online workshop series will consist of four weekly sessions, beginning on Wednesday, March 2 from 12 pm to 1:30 pm, and concluding on March 23. The online sessions will allow for time with guest speakers and discussion among participants. This event will require some preparation between sessions. The registration cost is $20 for all four sessions. For more information and to register, go to https://extension.unh.edu/event/2022/03/annies-project-inspired-navigating-human-side-farming. No one will be turned away due to inability to pay the registration fee.
