NAFDMA – International Agritourism Association, will officially welcome Christine Hawks to the organization as Membership and Events Manager on Sept. 25.
A California native, Christine spent the last four years as the Manager of Columbus’s Worthington Farmers Market, the largest year-round market in Central Ohio. As a Certified Farmers Market Manager and recently certified Ohio Master Urban Farmer, Christine is an ambassador for local food, farms and entrepreneurs. She has a background in event management, digital marketing, social entrepreneurship and food business incubation.
When she’s not exploring farms or farmers markets, you can find her in her kitchen making a new recipe from her ever-expanding cookbook collection, searching for the best chips and queso or hiking the trails with her whippet and 3-legged greyhound.
