RALEIGH, N.C.–On June 24-29, 2018 a total of 46 youth participants and adult coaches from across North Carolina traveled to Grand Island, Nebraska to compete in the annual National 4-H Shooting Sports Tournament. North Carolina placed fifth overall out of thirty nine states represented. The following are the final team results for the different disciplines:
Air Pistol – 12th place
Air Rifle – 17th place
Compound Archery – 2nd place
Hunting Skills – 7th place
Muzzle Loading – 12th place
Recurve Archery – 5th place
Shotgun – 16th place
Smallbore Platol – 4th place
Smallbore Rifle – 7th place
