STOCKTON, Mo. — “Warm season grasses can be useful in economically meeting cattle nutritional needs during the summer months,” says Patrick Davis MU Extension Regional Livestock Field Specialist. Therefore, Davis along with MU Extension Regional Agronomy Field Specialist Terry Halleran will be conducting an Online Warm Season Grass Cattle Grazing Workshop via ZOOM on the evening of April 15th beginning at 6:00 p. m.
“This workshop will cover establishment, management and proper cattle grazing of warm season grasses,” says Davis. The workshop will look at how to utilize native as well as introduced perennial and annual warm season grasses and legumes in cattle operations.
