BENTON HARBOR, Mich. — With less than 2% of the US population directly involved with agriculture, few consumers are aware of how agricultural items are produced. The desire to know, however, is high. To help inform consumers, four videos were recently released as part of Michigan State University’s on-going consumer ag-literacy effort. This MSUE Extension project recently added a grape production video and three blueberry videos. Each video takes the viewer through production, harvest, and handling. These videos are part of a project led by Dr. Ron Goldy, Senior Extension Educator and Multimedia Producer Kraig Ehm. The videos can be viewed by following the links below. If your commodity organization would be interested in sponsoring a similar video for your crop, contact Dr. Goldy at goldy@ms.edu.
