PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — The Paula A. Lewis Library will start the New Year with a new monthly Master Gardener Lecture Series on the first Saturday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
Presented by the St. Lucie County Extension Service Master Gardeners, these free lectures will help residents make their yards Florida friendly.
- Jan. 5 – Butterfly Gardens: Learn how to select plants that will attract butterflies to your garden.
- Feb. 2 – Explore Native Plants: Find out which plants are native to our area and how you can use them in your own landscaping.
- March 2 – The Joy of Herb Gardening: Add some flavor to your garden with herbs. Learn about different kinds of herbs, their uses and tips to successfully grow them.
